On December 27th 2016 at approximately 8:30 am a devastating fire broke out at the restaurant leading to a near complete loss. No one was injured thank God. Surprisingly Tex Terry's famous wheat penny bar and two of his original movie posters were recovered. As one can imagine we are completely heartbroken as we always worked so hard to preserve the history of those that traveled before us. Unfortunately at this time a will be closed until we evaluate  our path forward. We sincerely appreciate everyone's support and good will they have expressed as it means so much to us in this difficult time. You may follow us on Facebook and express your comments and suggestions and follow our updates.
